Void Strike
This game is built by me using the Unity game engine with the help of MSU's course on Coursera.
Modifications:
1) UI and Sounds
The UI of the game has been updated, including:
- New fonts
- Modified menus with new colors and buttons
- Health bar
- Lives notifier
- Power-up notifier
- Game music for each level
- New sound effects
2) Game Mechanics
Various power-ups have been added:
- Fire rate power-up, which increases the player’s fire rate
- Speed power-up, which increases the player’s movement speed
- Health power-up
- Maximum health power-up, which increases the player’s maximum health by one
- Lives power-up, which adds to the total lives the player has before it's game over
- Invincibility power-up, which protects the player from any damage
Progress
- Various levels with unique designs and increased difficulty
- New obstacles that can cause damage to the player
3) Graphics and Visuals
The visuals and graphic elements of the game have also been updated, including:
- Updated projectiles
- New obstacles and objects with improved designs to make the game feel more alive
- Visual effects and sound effects
